Krist Oil employees in some 69 stores throughout the Upper Peninsula, northern Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota were “going green” for eight weeks to raise funds for the local MDA through the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Shamrocks Against Dystrophy program. Through the sales of $1 green and $5 gold shamrocks at the some 69 locations, they raised a record high total of $15,245 for MDA. Pictured, from left, are Becky Weisnicht, Iron River store manager; Rick Angeli, Krist Oil retail operations manager; Krist Atanasoff, Krist Oil vice president; and Dawn Ver Haagh of the MDA in Green Bay, Wis. All of the proceeds stay in the communities where the funds were raised.
