CRYSTAL FALLS—The Iron Conservation District has extended its deadline for ordering tree seedlings and other items offered for its spring sale.
The district will accept orders until mid-April or until species are no longer available.  Honey Crisp apples are the only trees sold out.

There are still a variety of pines, spruces, oaks, maples along with wildlife habitat shrubs, such as ninebark, Washington hawthorn, high bush cranberry, red osier dogwood, and Lilac for sale.
Also available are blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, asparagus and rhubarb plants.
Apple trees still available are Paula red, Wolf River, Linda Mac and crabapples.
Distribution dates are set for April 27 and 28 in Crystal Falls. If anyone from the northeast Wisconsin area wishes to order, a delivery will be made to Watersmeet on April 28.
Also, a delivery will be made to Crandon by April 27 for anyone in that area who orders.
Anyone wishing to place an order but is in need of an order blank, should call the District Office at 875-3765 and request one. Leave a message.
