IRON RIVER—March will be going out like a “lion” in the Iron River area on the last day of the month.
That’s the date, Saturday, March 31, when the Home, Business and Outdoor Expo will be held at the West Iron County High School gym and the Spring Craft and Garden Show will be held at the Windsor Center here.
Needless to say, county residents and visitors will find plenty of opportunities to browse, shop and make plans for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.
The Home, Business and Outdoor Expo, sponsored by the Iron County Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Works! and WIKB the Bull, is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the high school gym, 700 Washington Ave.
The day will feature giveaways at many of the booths. WIKB will be doing some “live” remotes for vendors and visitors. The local 4-H’ers will have a food booth at the gym.
Those attending the Expo will also have the opportunity to register to win a Phillips 19-inch HDTV.
