Over the past couple of weeks, two pieces of good news were received here in Iron County.
 The first is the optimism that the Michigan State Housing Development Authority will approve the Central School redevelopment project, giving the developers the ability to start selling bonds to finance the project.

The forsight demonstrated by Iron River interests in securing the Central School property for future development is to be commended. Unfortunately, for a Crystal Falls native, the move recalls to memory how the community's "leadership" did their best to see that the grand old Forest Park Elementary Building would never enjoy the kind of reincarnation the Central School is about to achieve.
