IRON MOUNTAIN—On Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Midtown Mall will be transformed for its annual Hunting and Fishing Show.
Sports enthusiasts from around the area will be able to visit with experts in the fields of hunting, trapping, fishing and more.
Each year, the mall hosts a variety of speakers on various relevant topics.

“This year we are pleased to announce that veteran outdoor writer/photographer, Richard P. Smith from Marquette, will return as a presenter,” said Karen Mooney, Midtown Mall Promotions coordinator.
He will also have his Field Judging Black Bears and Deer Hunting books available. The presentation schedule will be 11 a.m., Benji Wood from Boundary Waters Musky Club; noon, Richard P. Smith and 1 p.m., Tom Gursky Tackle and Techniques for freshwater game fish.
The presentations will be held in the Large Mall Event Bay.
“Each year our vendors allow us to offer unique merchandise to those who visit. This year, Realistics Fish Taxidermy will have demonstrations in the hall,” said Mooney.
At this year’s event, there will also be two grand prize raffles. One prize will be a hunting blind and the other will be a fishing prize package.
There are still vendor openings available. Those who are interested in being a part of this event or have questions is asked to call Mooney, 779-9667 or email at midtownmall events@yahoo.com.
