A ‘big, big’ heart

NorthStar Health System and Bellin Hospital brought a 27-foot high, anatomically correct heart to both West Iron and Forest Park schools in honor of February being National Heart Health Month. It was so big that you could walk right in and get a tour of the inner workings of the heart, and the young students loved it. Pictured, top photo, is David Becker’s third grade class at Stambaugh Elementary and, bottom photo, Janice Stacy’s fifth grade class at Forest Park.
