IRON MOUNTAIN—The Boundary Waters Musky Club will be holding its fourth annual expo and annual meeting on Saturday, Feb. 18, at America’s Best Inn in Iron Mountain.
The event will feature a tackle swap, prize raffles and a number of guest speakers. The public is welcome to attend. Speakers run from roughly 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the annual meeting of the club to follow.
This year’s speaker lineup will include:
11 a.m. to noon: Mike Donofrio, Wisconsin DNR Fisheries biologist - management and resource planning
12:30 to 1:30 p.m.: Nicholas Legler, MDNR Fisheries biologist -management & resource planning
1:45 to 2:30 p.m.: Danny Lazzeroni and Dave Wineburner, musky guides - live bait tips and tactics
2:45 to 3:30 p.m.: Benji Wood, BWMC vice president - Recap of 2011 season successes and failures
An annual membership to the Boundary Waters Musky Club is $10 for an individual or $15 for a family.
Dinner will be provided for all members around 5 p.m., and new members who sign up that day will be welcome to stay.
