IRON RIVER—The West Iron District Library is hosting its annual “Let It Snow” reading club for adults.
Sign-up began Jan. 7. Participants must read 12 books in 12 weeks to receive a collector mug as a reward.
In addition, participants may submit a short review of the book read each week.

“For each review you submit, you will receive another chance to be put into a drawing for a Nook, and other great prizes,” said a spokesperson.
Several events are planned for reading club participants.
On Saturday, Feb. 4, from 11 a.m. to noon, “cook up a story,” and make a dish using a recipe featured in a book that you have read and share it with fellow readers.
An eReader discussion group is planned for Saturday, March 3, beginning at 11 a.m. Participants can meet with others using the same devices, share tips and hints.
On Saturday, March 24, the final program will be held beginning at 11 a.m. The winner of the Nook will be announced.
Check out the library’s website at westironlib.org to print out forms from home. The program is free and open to the public.
