Mahler named NHS chief of staff PDF Print E-mail

IRON RIVER—Kim Mahler, D.O., was named NorthStar Health System chief of medical staff.
 Mahler is a board-certified family medicine physician. She earned her doctor of osteopathy degree from Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.
 Mahler is also the director of NHS Home Care & Hospice program, a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a member of the Michigan State Medical Society and a diplomat of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.

 She is also a certified EMT and is certified in BLS and ACLS. Mahler and her husband, Bruce, are very active in the community.
 “I’m honored for this opportunity and am excited to serve in this role as NorthStar Health System continues on its mission of providing positive health care experiences to all of its patients,” said Mahler.
 “We thank Dr. Mahler for stepping up and taking this role in our organization,” said NHS CEO Bruce Rampage.
