IRON RIVER—Iron River Bible Church is holding its ninth annual hunting banquet on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Iron River Bible Church. Everyone is invited and there is no cost. “The evening will include a wildlife feast with a menu like you would see at a U.P. hunting camp,” said a spokesperson.
Main speaker is Les Ollila, the chancellor at Northland International University and a life-long hunter and outdoorsman. “Les grew up in the Copper Country and has a million stories to tell. He is very funny and will keep you at the edge of your seat.” The name of his presentations is “What does it mean to be a man’s man?” Kerry Kirkpatrick will demonstrate trapping techniques. As always, many prizes will be given away. “Mark your calendars for Dec. 10 and plan to spend a fun evening with other outdoorsmen and women.” For more information, call 265-3977.
