I would like to inform all the residents of Iron County about the services at the Department of Health and Human Services. I have not been able to recieve my benifits in over three months and am very appauled at this. I have called Lansing and spoke with the customer service reps and the same answers all around. I called the State Reps and still not resolved, I even tried to call the Governor and what a joke that office is. I feel like i am being penalized because i actually went out and got a job. You would think in there eyes that would be a good thing. However that is not the case. AS soon as I reported I got a job everything had stopped. First you have to do their spend down what a joke. Then no you don't, your case is flagged and on the help desk now for three months. Please, what kind of system do we have here? Lets spend less on trying to make thing easier for them and more on getting these people out and WORKING and stop living off the system.
