CRYSTAL FALLS - On Thursday, April 18 at 3:30 P.M. there will be a children’s story hour about Birds and the artwork of Lucy Cousins at the Crystal Falls Library. We will be reading several of Cousins’ books, including ‘Hurray for Birds’. Then children will be painting owls with gouache paint in Lucy Cousins’ signature style which she uses in her ‘Maisy’ book series. All children will receive a book about owls to take home to add to their personal home library. Snacks and juice will be provided.

Come and celebrate Earth Day at the library and learn how to make some extra cash.  On Monday, April 22, at 6 p.m., Richard P. Smith will be here to talk about his book ’Nickel & Dime Your Way To Extra Dollars’. Refreshments will be served. Richard will have copies of his book available to purchase and to autograph after his presentation.
