Ski, target shoot set March 6-7 at the Sno-Bear Biathlon - Wednesday, March 3, 2010

AMASA—The third annual Great Sno-Bear Biathlon will be held at the Listening Inn and is sponsored by the Iron County 4-H Sharp Shooters. Cross-country skiing and target shooting is open to both children and adults.

The adults and juniors will participate on Saturday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and must provide their own skis and .22 single shot rifles. A separate kid’s day will be held on Sunday, March 7, begins at 10 a.m.

The awards ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m. following the kid’s biathlon day with first, second and third place medals awarded. A travelling trophy will be presented to first place finishers in each category.

A dinner will be served at 6 p.m. for volunteers and prize winners. Additional dinner tickets are available for $10 per person.

Lunch will be available both days sponsored by the 4-H Sharp Shooters.

The Listening is located at 339 Clark Road in Amasa.
