UPSA to hold public input forum - Wednesday, February 17, 2010
IRON MOUNTAIN—The Upper Peninsula Sportsmans Alliance (UPSA) will hold a public input forum on Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Bay West Community College in Iron Mountain, beginning at 6 p.m. Purpose of the forum is for the public to be able to voice their opinions, concerns or view points to improve the wildlife environment in the U.P. for hunting, fishing, trapping and recreational use.
UPSA has six meetings scheduled throughout the U.P. They will be taking place in Marquette, Escanaba, Baraga, the Newberry area and one other location yet to be scheduled.
UPSA membership is comprised of clubs, individuals and business associate members. There are currently 48 member clubs in the Upper Peninsula Sportsmans Alliance with a total membership if 40,000.
