While county snowplows rested, a group of West Iron High School students took advantage of some warming weather and balmy breezes on Wednesday, April 16, to get their kites up high and blowing freely. Although the skies remained cloudy, the temperatures provided a welcome relief from early spring snowstorms that inundated the area with more snow than most residents wanted to see. Kite flyers included Niki Grissett, Andy Patton, Cami Fittante, Derrick Frailing and Allie Fittante.
